Brooke Davies is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington with a B.A. in Physics. She started her career as a teacher of advanced placement Physics. Before joining WACA, Brooke worked in the cannabis industry as the Operations Director of a retail cannabis establishment and then moved on as the Executive Director of a non-profit organization representing an emerging new market in Washington. Brooke has experience in working with both the legislature and state agencies to develop and interpret laws and rules that regulate various businesses. Brooke is excited to play a role in creating a strong foundation for Washington's cannabis industry through her position at the Washington CannaBusiness Association.

Aaron has proudly supported the WACA team since late 2014. He got his start in 2009 serving for four years as spokesperson for former Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn, earning experience in media strategy and press relations, crisis communications and message development. Today, Aaron is honored to have had the opportunity to support the work of a broad range of corporate leaders, public sector efforts and non-profit advocacy organizations on strategic public affairs communications to help inform media coverage locally, statewide and nationally in pursuit of a public policy goal. Lisa Danielson Communications
Lisa Danielson is a communications professional with 25+ years’ experience developing and implementing communications strategies for complex, high-profile policy issues. She has developed messaging for advocacy organizations in multiple states positioned locally and at the national level and has worked on a diversity of issues on behalf of prominent global brands, local government, and community-based non-profits. Where possible, she encourages opinion research that seeks perceptions of issues, especially where policymaking is influenced by social media dialogue more than public values. As part of the WACA team since 2015, Lisa is a student of the evolving sector and is committed to communicating about the professionals and innovators who comprise a safe and regulated industry.
